Jessica Cronin - 2024 BERNINA Ambassador
Costume Designer & Fashion Historian

Jessica Cronin brings extensive professional experience from both Hollywood and New York fashion to her role as 2024 BERNINA Ambassador. With an MFA in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Art History from Drew University, she has worked on major productions including HBO's Gotham Knights, Netflix's Dead to Me, and Amazon's A League of Their Own. As a IATSE Union Member, Jessica has served in a variety of roles from Costume Designer to Key Costumer on productions designed by Emmy Award winners and nominees.

Jessica's fashion industry background includes three years as an Associate Designer at Adrianna Papell Group and assistant roles at Calvin Klein and Maggie Norris Couture. Jessica's unique sewing journey began by learning hand-sewing techniques with her great-grandmother, sparking a love for historical fashion which has lead to specialization in historical costume construction and design. Jessica also owns her own Historical Fantasy Fashion line - Renegade Couture creating specialty garments and corsets that blend period authenticity with contemporary wearability.

Working with the BERNINA B 770 QE Plus Kaffe Edition, Jessica is excited to share how professional-grade sewing technology can bring historical costume techniques to home sewers and quilters, bridging centuries of craftsmanship with modern innovation.
