Sue O’Very, also known as Sookie of Sookie Sews, is a serger educator, pattern designer, author, YouTuber, and BERNINA Embroidery Software V9 Expert with over 25 years of experience. She is the author of Pocket Guide to Sergers and two additional sewing reference books, and has helped tens of thousands of sewists gain confidence using their sergers.
Sue is the creator of Serger Escape, founder of the Serger Dream Club, and the Year of the Serger initiative. She is also the inventor of the EZ Point & Turner, empowering Serger Bees around the world—one confident stitch at a time.
